PolymerR is led by Dr. Nikola Kocic, PhD in Chemistry from Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg (Germany) and Dipl.-Ing. in Organic Chemical Technology and Polymer Science from the University of Belgrade (Serbia). His expertise spans material development, polymer crystallization, structure–process–property relationships and life cycle assessment, developed through sustained work on thermoplastic polyurethanes, PVC, polyolefins, biopolymers, and advanced compound formulations.

With more than two decades of international experience in Germany and Spain, he has held senior R&D roles at German Plastics Centre SKZ (Wuerzburg, Germany) and Lubrizol Advanced Materials (Barcelona, Spain), operating at the interface of applied polymer research and industrial product development. He has collaborated closely with global material producers and product manufacturers, contributing to advanced formulation development, processing optimization, and sustainability-driven innovation initiatives.

Across research-driven and industrial settings, his work has focused on complex material development challenges where scientific rigor must align with manufacturing feasibility, regulatory constraints and commercial performance. He is the author and co-author of numerous scientific and technical publications, reflecting sustained engagement with both academic research and industrial innovation. This dual exposure to scientific depth and industrial execution defines the technical foundation of PolymerR.
